Mick Godfrey Sales Director

Mick has 17 years experience of working here at Alf's Motorcycles and over 20 years in the motorcycle trade.

A self confessed Kawasaki enthusiast with an encyclopaedic knowledge of the Kawasaki range.

Mick restores early Kawasaki models like the early Z1 in his spare time and has a collection comprising of a Z1R 2 x Z650's. He also owns a ZX10R, ZX6R and a KX250F motorcross machine which he likes to ride "On any Sunday"

Mick's racing career started in 1986 riding a Yamaha FZR600, then progressing to a Ducati at Alf's in 1988 coming second in the Sounds of Thunder Championship. In 1989 he went on to win the Sounds of Thunder Championship on a Ducati.

In 1990 Mick entered British endurance racing competitions including some 24hr races resulting in various class & race wins at Le mans, Spa, Bol'dor China and Thailand right up until 2003. In 2006 he rode at the Isle of Man TT riding a ZX6R. Three years on the trot from 2007 to 2009 he won the British Endurance Championship. Now in 2010, Mick will be riding for Alf's team at the 24hr Endurance at Le Mans in April.
