Alf's Motorcycles is a well-established and respected Kawasaki, BSA & used bike dealership in Worthing, West Sussex providing the motorcycling community with over 35 years of knowledge & experience covering most makes and marques. The job
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Motorcycle Technician to join our workshop team expanding our ability to be highly flexible, adaptable and maintaining & improving our high-quality standards.
The role will predominately be responsible for servicing and repairing a variety of manufacturers models including Kawasaki, BSA (New Gold Star), Honda, Yamaha, Suzuki and others, preparing new and used motorcycles ready for sale, fitting performance and touring kits, & fitting aftermarket accessories.
The successful candidate will:
- Preferably have at least 2 years of experience of modern motorcycle technology, able to diagnose faults and operate current diagnostic equipment and systems such as Texa
- Be expected to work to tight deadlines, whilst maintaining high standards
- Preferably already have achieved an MOT Tester certificate or be willing to do so
- Computer literate sufficient for use of programming, systems and updates
- Must hold a clean full UK Motorcycle Licence
- Be Self- motivated, able to work independently, pay attention to detail and willing to learn
- Full manufacturer training will be provided once probation period is completed
- Have good communication skills and maintain healthy inter-department relations
- Be willing to support and attend events, open days and ride outs
